About United Computer Exchange and OneBusinessAuction.com The United Computer Exchange (UCE) is an Internet market forum specializing in volume-seller-to-volume-buyer transactions of computer equipment. UCE began operations in 1993 as a market facilitator of used computer equipment. A pioneer of e-commerce technology, UCE launched the OnLine Exchange in 1993, the "first of its kind" person-to-person Internet trading system. In 1997, UCE launched BidMaster, an inventory bidding system that facilitates the trading of computer equipment in volume. In March of 1999, UCE was acquired by TradePath Technologies, LLC, a provider of hosted inventory bidding systems, which in turn was purchased by Global Biz Services, Incorporated in September 2000. In June 2002, United Computer Exchange, Inc. and One Business Auction, Inc. were established as separate and independent organizations by the team of George George W. Jackson and Thomas Phaneuf.
